Our staff proclaims the leadership of The Holy Spirit and each strive to live by these beliefs:
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

Music and Worship Pastor
Born on July 8, 1953 in Montgomery, WV, Roger Lee Comer was the first-born child of Clinton and Martha Comer. He was taken to church at 3 days old and has never left those roots. He was the Pastor of the Elkridge Community Church for 25 years. This was the church he grew up in, where he was saved at the age of nine, where he was baptized, where he sang in the choir, learned to play the piano and where his children were dedicated to the Lord. Roger grew up in a Christian family with three younger sisters and graduated with honors from Montgomery High School in 1971. He immediately began working after high school due to the abundance of good jobs at the time. It was about this time in his life that he became interested in music. He had always enjoyed singing in church, but one day he picked up an old guitar, plucked a few strings, and it changed his life forever. He would eventually lay down the guitar for the piano, which he has still
loves today. This eventually led Roger to being involved in gospel music groups in which he both played the piano and sang. In 1974, he moved to Washington State and played professionally with a group that traveled the states and Canada extensively. He has been in ten different groups over the years and is still a
part of the Faith Harmony Boys, which he joined in 1988. This group has had several recording contracts and has recorded fifteen studio projects and one live project. With them he has traveled up and down the east coast and in the mid-west and has had the opportunity to perform on stage with some of the top
names in gospel music. He has also written numerous songs, many of which have been recorded by his group and some by other national recording artists.
When Roger left the road traveling and singing in late 1975, he began working as the manager of an automotive parts store in Montgomery, WV. Since that time, he has been the sales manager of an Exxon oil distributor and the territory manager of a music distribution company based in Tennessee. In April of
2004, Roger accepted the position as a manager of an apartment complex and is still in this business currently managing Dunbar Towers Apartments.
Currently, Roger resides in Rand, WV along with his wife Kelly. He was remarried in 2018 and is still enjoying being a newlywed. He has a son Jonathan, and a daughter Ashley that live in the area. His daughter has blessed him with two grandsons and one step grandson. Kelly, his wife also has a son, Chance, who lives in Florida and a daughter, Erin, who lives in Wayne County, WV and has blessed Kelly with her first grandson. His future plans are to keep trusting the Lord, spend as much time as possible with his wife and family and to continue his music ministry and to enjoy the blessings that God brings his way.
